Well my dreams of breaking the 150db mark are fading quick..im just going to grow some balls and wall my maxima with 2 Fully loaded 18's w/ 2 4kw amps or maybe 2 gp3000d pros at .5 ohms..

anyway the thing is i dont know where to place the port

1. subs on top and the port on the bottom?

2. subs on bottom and port on top(my first choice)

3. sub on each side and the port in the middle (least fav because of the length of the port)

post here which one and why...

also the box i came up with should be around 12cuft net after port and woofers all doubled birch and i plan on adding fiberglass resin with 2 2x4 for braces..

u don't have 12 cu.ft. to put 2 18's in I'm assuming unless you plan on starting the wall past the b-pillar
what are you talking about? im building it in the car i can get about 15.18 gross..and that starting way bay there so i can still have my lean on my seat..

ive seen alot of walls with subs on one side, and port on the other
yea that more for SPL..

Sounds like fun.....look around there are a few car wall builds, send pimp a pm and see if he can help you out
already done it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

port on drivers side and subs stacked on pass side can get you mid to high 150s with that equipment.

Port in the middle and sub on each side will be least loud, subs on pass side and port on driver side will be the loudest.

Port on top and subs on bottom will be almost the same as port on the bottom and subs on top. And you should be able to break 150 with these setups.
