Time for a new amp

Well I just got my Soundstream XXX 6500, used it for less than an hour and I'm gonna need a different amp. This sucker draws too much current and my DD 9515 is busted, gonna find out in detail whats wrong with it, but one voice coil is showing a lower impedence than the other.

Anyways, I'll be running an Adire Brahma MKI 12" dual 2 ohm and I'm going more for SQ now. I'll have a Kinetik HC 1400 under the hood and I'll probably upgrade to a better alt in the future. The current vehicle its going in has a 90A alt, but the next one might be more. Any ideas/suggestions for amps? I guess my budget is 700, I'd prefer new and getting a dealer warranty but I'm still not decided so I can take used amp suggestions for prices. So far the only amp I have found interest in an Audison LRx 1.400 for 400 at woofersetc.com. I'm gonna see if a local dealer can beat that price.
