so i have a 3sity.2 with time align. from what i know people align there system so that the voice comes out of the center of the dash (in that area) or in between the 2 speakers and the music comes out of the sides. but if we are trying to copy home audio sound in the car shouldn't the voice come out from in front of me then the music from the sides?

so where is the proper place to align the center. should it be passed the steering wheel or in between the 2 speakers?

That's a good question.

Generally, in SQ competition for single-seat, you want the center of the soundstage in the center of the dash.

Two-seat SQ competition places the stage right in front of you.

Its best to try to get your vocals coming from center of dash(rear view mirror center). If you attempt to localize in front of your steering wheel your staging will become cramped/squished and you wont get that certain airiness and spread you'll desire of a real live play, bad wording I know but best I could describe it.

that thread helped a lot especialy this particular post!i got it now!!! check it out......

Let me try to put it in anoter way...

Spread your woman's legs. Where her feet/ankles are is where the left and right of the stage is. What you want to do is stick it right between her legs (center focus). If you're off to the left or right, you'll probably hit her thighs, but that's okay, because rubbing the inner thighs can arouse her, but dead center is where the spot is... for her and for you.

If you're very far off to where her feet/ankles are, then you're just ******* her toes or licking her ankles, which might get her going, but it'll do nothing for you... this is all assuming one leg isn't shorter than the other.

Lets say you want to raise your soundstage higher and ***** **** her. It'll be best if both her tits are the same size, then again, you want to sticking right in between...

Helotaxi, what you're doing is rubbing/poking her left thigh and caressing her left nipple. You might have a fetish for that, but it's not how she wants and needs it. Stop being selfish and give to her right.

ok here is a follow up question. i am running a 3 way separates on my car. my midbass runs on a different amp and uses the front out put of the 3sixty.2. my midrange and tweets are on the dash runing on the rear output of the 3sixty.2

the question is should i align the midbass as well or leave it with out alignment. some people say i should leave it others say i should align it what do you guys think?

No but it offered a great visual aid on understanding how the stage "should" look.

I'm not super familiar with the 3sixty, can you save setting then try something else but revert back to them?

If it were me, I might try aligning them then see what I think. If it brings the center in, awesome.

edit: you can save settings on the 3Sixty. you would just load another file.

i like it best when i delay my front left channel until the vocals sound right in front of me. for me, tweaking my eq opens it all up/gives it depth

an eq can only do so much. proper placement will put you leaps and beyond before an eq can help.

however sound right in front you will make your stage skew. Your left integrity will be shoved into your center, and your right integrity will be way off. Unless you have an Mclaren F1 where you are sitting in the center you should not aim for the front of you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

no sh!t, but i cant stick my left channel 3 feet to the left of me and im not going to move my right channel to the center of my car, so its as good as im willing to make it and i like the vocals right in front of me
