Tight Bass for rock..which is better

how bout...not a kicker....get something better

Because I allready have these...and its going in a boat...dont want spend a LOT OF $$$$ on a Sub for a boat.

The 8 inch I can mount in the side pannels of the boat...wont need a box and wont take up any space.

The big 15 i would have to put in a box and put up front under the hood and take up floor space etc. and it weighs more with the box.

If the 2 8 inch will have good tight bass I would rather use them... but if the 15 has tight bass and is a LOT louder i would use it

how about shut your freggin mouth and stop spewing usless information out of your ***. kicker is one of the most respected companies in my book. if not for the high build quality, the customer service.

thank you tracy!

anywho. you should get a sheet of MDF and make a small sealed box and install the L515 in there and see what results you get. play with some polyfill, try and turn your low pass filter on the amp up to like 150 if you can. L5's arent the best subs for the higher frequencies, but they should be able to hit them in the right box.

seriously, PM POLECAT - he will definatly help you if he does not reply to this thread before you get a chance haha. he works for kicker and is a great dude.

I dont have the tools or time to build a box. By the time I bought... jigsaw, router, power drill, down spiral bit or spiral bit, 3/4-inch bit, file, sandpaper, razor blade or scalpel, spray glue, tape measure, pencil, screws, silicone, solder, solder gun, calculator, scratch paper, carpet ETC.

And the time to gather this stuff up and build one.

I would rather buy one pre-built.

If someone wants to build me one I will pay them!
