We had a stray dog come to your house once that had over 100 ticks on it. Ticks are the most disgusting shit ever.

When removing ticks you shouldnt just rip them out. Take a lighter and heat a needle up for a min or two. then gently touch the hot needle to the tic and he will let go.

Not sure if you knew this or not.

I grew up in ne arkansas in the country so ive seen my fair share of ticks.

i had two on me when i was in the 8th grade after we went on a picnic in this park that was wooded and had tall grass they warned us to wear long clothing but it still seemed to latch on a part of my body that was covered, i jus pulled them off when i was in the shower, i was scared that was the first time that happened to me

Havent heard that one but, ill try it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif .. Usually i use alcohol ( liquor ) or rubbing alcohol and when they sense there about to drown, they actually back them selves out, usually a shot and tweezers works for me.. I just cant stand the feeling of touching them for some reason.. Call me a pus or whatever but them and spiders are tops of my list on things that scare the sh*t outta me lol

As cold as it gets in Wisconsin (considerably cooler climate than Louisiana at any rate) I wasn't aware that ticks were a problem up there.
I feel your pain, bro. Ticks are a never-ending battle here during summertime.

Its actually alot worse than you would think up here .. If you actually look on tick websites...( not that i'm suggesting u have that boring of a life to do so, //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ) theey are actually the most widespread up here due to the climate changing.. They come out in the spring when it's warm then it'll be cold and the eggs that havent hatched yet will survive until the next warm spell .. I dont no if this makes sense but the more that happens they keep doubling and tripling etc .. Northern MN and WI especially are known for an early tick season and a heavy one when the climate is like that.. Which it has been for the past 2-3 yrs

Covering them with Vaseline will yield the same result. When they feel themselves start to smother they will back out of wherever they have attached themselves.
