The only time I usually ever get them is at our cabin up near Siren, but that a heavily wooded area and from walking through tall grasses and such.

No but you really dont have to... They pretty much just latch on to you if you brush against them, I was in the city the past 2 days and the closest i got was walking through grass.. That was actually just cut.. There only about 3/8" long or so and flat ( for those who havent seen them) .. And for me i got the feeling now that i have something crawling on me.. Yea Danbury is about 45 minutes south east of me, i usually only stop there to go to the hole in the wall casino or drivin through to hinckley
