Here a ticket starts at $500 for a first offence and goes up from there. The cops do have the right to "ask" you to remove it on the spot if it is the film kind.

And exactly how much can you see at night with limo tino? Just about none. My brother has it and its not worth it. He cant see if anyone is runnin up on him or see out his side windows into his mirrors. It looks cool from outside but its not worth it. He's almost been in too many accidents because of it. And a ticket here in Indiana is like 50 for illegal tint.

My buddy has limo all the way around on his souped up mustang and has received a ticket before, and so have a couple of people I know with imports. However, I drive a newer truck with limo tint, and so does another guy I know with a F350 Diesel, and we've never been pulled over. When I drove fixed up racing type cars I would never put illegal tint on them, I would have surely got ticketed, but now that I have a truck on 22's, I think it's required to have dark tint. No problems yet, but I can't see worth a shit at night (except out the side windows, my fronts are limo, back windows are factory tint + limo, rear window is factory tint + 20% + limo, lol), I suggest getting a rear view camera, which I plan on getting soon before I run over some kiddies or something...

Another cool thing to look into if you're into security is bullet proof tint, they sell it here at about triple the cost of normal tint.

Why dont you just get a perscription from a doctor saying you need tints to see well. I did this and im only 17. Dont need glasses or contacts either. It will work and its the legal way of keeping them on all windows except the windsheild of course.

well, i got limo at the back, n yeah i can't see much thru my rearview mirror, but i just put 39% in the fronts, n it's pretty nice. looks better, n i can still see well from inside.

I have 35% on the front and 20% on the back. I'm happy with the side windows. They get dark enough for me. My friend's got limo tint and you can't see shit. Although, i did get pulled over for mine. $75, but i got it thrown out.

I want tint so people cant really see me...or my subs. I got the kind of "Mr. Mysterious" kinda thing going now, with the reaper decal, the skull license plate, all that shit, I dont want people knowing who I am, would rather just get 5% all around and say f*ck it. Would look good on white car..

I have 5% limo all the way around on my SUV (Black Toyota 4Runner.) That much tint is highly illegal, however if you dont drive like a damn monkey you won't get pulled over for that alone. Now if you are driving like you stole it, hell yes you'll get pulled over for it.

In my origional home town of Sarasota, the fine is 54dollars PER WINDOW! Considering I have 7 of my 8 total windows wrapped in 5% that would be a hefty fine.

When you do get pull over, roll down your window, the rear door's window on that side, and if you can the back window. This reliquishes any tactical advantages that you may have. Also be polite, curteous, and honest to the cop - who knows he may just let you off....

Incidentally, I've been given tickets for speeding, too many, and nothing was even mentioned about the tint. **knock on wood**
