Hey all. I've got a good friend of mine who's looking to upgrade the system in his danger ranger. He's just about bone stock with a cheap Pioneer head unit, and he's looking to spend ~$1,000 on a revamp - that's a sub stage along with an amp, 4 replacements for his current 6x8s along with an amp for those, wiring, an enclosure for the sub, and possibly a head unit. He's looking for medium-level equipment; nothing he needs to compete with, but he wants a decent sounding system. Mixture of SQ and SPL - again, he's not competing or anything. A relatively basic system with decent equipment, what can you put together for us?
The head unit, he probably just wants a single DIN, something on the cheaper side that'll let him run 2 amps.
The sub(s) will be shallow mounts, probably under 1,000w together with an amp to match.
Again, just some suggestions that'll keep the grand total under $1,000 would be great. Thanks guys.
