Three W3-D6 JL's

This guy has three JL W3 D6's for 200 in a sealed box... would that be better than my two diamond D3 12 DVC 2ohm subs?

what should i buy?

Will be run off of my KAR 900.1D amp... ( I don't know if these would be good for that amp)

I doubt that 3 JL w1 or 0 are gonna outbump some diamond D3 subs. Especcially since you shoudl be pported and these are sealed.

However the amount of cone area is gonna be the defining factor as well as your final ohm load that the amp see's.

The only way to really tell is drive over and hook them up. Everything else is just speculation.

2 ported subs shoudl keep up with 3 sealed though maybe not on bass mechaniks or DJ magic Mike program material.

Also what ohm load would my amp see? If i just drive over there and hook them up, because my KAR amp has two channels (even tho its a mono) how would i do it?

ok but how do i wire them when ig et there? Do I use both channels or just one channel to the first subs positive and minus, then a wire fromt hat to the next sub and then from that to the next sub?

Your amp is only 1 channel... it may have two sets of terminals and is then bridged internally.... D6 means dual 6 ohm voice coils... so your amp will see a 1 ohm load... You will power them perfectly and the w3 is still one of my favorite woofers... You sure they are dual 6s? Or are you sure they aren't w6-d6?
