Okay i just put added a phoenix gold ti 15" svc 4 ohm and an interfire IB-2900c as my sub package. did the big three upgrade with 4 ga. used knukonceptz ring teminals and battery terminals on every wire, used knukonceptz everthing to wire it, rcas and all. grounded to bare metal with a ground foot, basicly wired to the T.
Okay the first deck is a Kenwood mp425. when i turn it on i get a ground noise in my sub with the gains all the way down. and when i try to set the gain higher it makes the sub flutter in and out to full excursion. and not to the beat eaither, and it dont stop even if i turn it down. i had to turn the power off. sumething like a mixed signal or something. first thing i did was recheck all my wiring. replaced my ground location. tryed it again and samething. So after a few hours of going nutts playing with all the settings. i decided to install my BNIB Kenwood X889 thinking its the deck to blame. I still got the groung noise with the gains all the way down. but i can turn the gain up about 1/4 ways before it starts to fludder again. . //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif . So as a last measure I swapped the deck again with this older Alpine i have 99 model. Works perfect in sound. no ground noise, no fludder at any gain setting. nothing. But the problem with this deck is that when i bump my music it makes the cd skip. No mp3s plus all the other setbacks cuz its an older deck.
So Im upset at the fact that my kenwoods dont work for me. So is there something i dont know that i should cuz i searched. I really want to use my Kenwood x889.
