Three 6 Mafia - Last 2 Walk

I don't listen to the radio at all, but I believe most artist's do not control how much a radio station plays their music. So how does getting played more on the radio make them sold out? Wouldn't the music have to be good enough to be in constant rotation?

Now I know you're gonna say 99% stuff on the radio is horrible, I agree, hence why I don't listen to it but I don't see how radio play automatically makes you sold out. It can't be on the radio and be good?
Music is music, whether someone listens to radio style music or not, but when an artist changes up the style they are known for, and 'selling out' to the style that will get more radio time and most importantly //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif:greedy://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif is just lame.....

Mainstream, underground, doesn't matter. Three 6 Mafia is the best hip hop group ever, without question. They were the first group to have any kind of flow, and they have stuck with their original style throughout the years. They have continued to put out good songs their entire career, and I have never found them to be ignorant or stupid. They seem to have a good sense of humor, style, and music in general.
This is probably the best rap album this year, possibly a couple years.
negative 3 6 is not the best hip hop group ever.

they were. ugk won't be putting out any more records though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
at first i did put ugk is or i should say was, but changed it back to is.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I agree that some music is nothing but that, a way to make money. "Entertainment" if you will. But some artist use the power of music to influence, educate and release their feelings..not just for money. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif 3-6 is a prime example of "entertainment" but at the same time, they broke away from their roots which was a unique style to make more money. Now they sound like everyone else on the radio/tv...It makes money, but loses the respect of people who liked them for what they were.

eh i care less about thier choices, i listen to what appeals to the ear, if britney spears made somethign i liked id listen to it. I think i just hate the term "sold out". Its a term gave to people who basically find a way to make more money and live better by people who dont have shit or arent shit.
