Just wanted to get some opinions on my system I'm gonna have installed soon. This is gonna be my daily driver so I'm not looking for the best of the best. I use most of my trunk space very often so I prefer to not run any sub stage. I like a mixture of sound quality and loudness at times. I paid a little less than $450 for everything. I purchased the head unit and amp used, everything else new. Thoughts?

Head unit: Panasonic, 5v preouts, 9 band EQ, AUX, CEA 2006 compliant, 31w rms, 70w peak

Amp(4ch): Eclipse PA5422, USA made, 85w x 4 @ 4ohms rms

Front Stage: Pioneer TS-D1602R

Rear Fill: Pioneer TS-D6902R

Installation Accessories:

Audio Technix 4 gauge OFC power & ground

Monoprice.com 12 gauge OFC speaker wire

4 AlphaDamp CLD Tiles

150A fuse

Stinger Hyper 17ft 4 channel RCA

you could have got a lot better for your money when it comes to those speakers
I paid $179 total for both sets brand new with 1yr warranty. Care to give any examples of speakers that would be better and within the price range?

I forgot to mention, I prefer to not use comps since my car has no factory tweeter locations & I prefer to not cut into my interior to mount tweeters. I don't know much about IA comps, but I've heard great things about those ID comps.

I was debating between the ID CTX coaxials and the Pioneers. From researching I've read the Pioneers will get louder, handle power better, have noticeably better midbass & the tweeter can sound almost as good as the ID's if the EQ is tweaked properly. I've always been against the Pioneer speakers, but the D series seem to be really good. Plus 2 sets for $179 shipped, new with 1yr warranty seems good. They seem to be some of the best coaxials on the market for less than $100.

why are you asking for advice on your setup if your happy with it and dont want the advice?? If you are happy with your setup then you are fine thats all that matters, dont ask for advice if you already know what you like and want, you seem to be set on the pioneers so i see no reason to try to offer advice.

I was just giving my reasoning for choosing the Pioneers over the ID's. I should have stated why I chose coaxials instead of comps originally. I can't say I'm 100% happy with the Pioneers since I haven't heard them in my car yet, I haven't had my install done yet. I was just asking for opinions on what I purchased & the price I spent. I could still return the speakers and purchase different sets if I felt I could get something better for around $200. So it's not like my mind is 100% set on just the Pioneers, I was just asking since I'm no car audio specialist. Sorry for coming off as one that didn't want/appreciate advice.

Looks like you could raise the back seat maybe 2 to 2-1/2" use longer seat bolts and washers and frame/mold in the under carriage cavity of that...
