What do you plan to do with it? I mean your not going to be doing any heavy gaming with it but if you just got it for a decent internet surfer or work laptop it should do fine. Have you ever owned a 17" laptop before? They aren't all that portable, kind of bulky and heavier than a 15.4". But again, it all depends on what your using this for, if you don't travel much then this shouldn't be a problem.

It is for these reasons (in order of importance):

1. Post on CA.com

2. Surf the web

3. Business documents (word/Excel/Project)

4. Autocad (not intensive)

5. Media

6. Termlab

It will not go out very often at all, and the bigger screen I thought would be good for reviewing plans...
