Thoughts on this amp..........

It's old school Orion Class A/B and is hand tuned by the chief engineer at the time it was made (late 80's early 90's). Distortion is on the negligible side. Same with signal to noise.

It's 2 feet long because it is Class A/B and not very efficient as a result. It's expensive because it is a collectors item. It listed for $2750 new in '93 and was a special order only item. Each was custom engraved with the name of the person (or usually shop) ordering it. You can't really compare it to new amps because it doesn't compare.

 
Why in hell is a 1000w RMS bridged amp 2 feet long? Seems like too much money for 1000 rms, i dont care if the case is solid gold.
