Thoughts on the new Honda CR-V?

My dad has been looking for a new car for a while now. He's a sales guy and travels quite a bit, so quality and good gas mileage are essential. Our local Honda dealership had a black CR-V out front yesterday so we stopped to check it out. It didn't even have the plastic off it yet. Sticker was about $21,500. Of course, you can get the higher package ones for more. IMO, they seem pretty dang nice. For the price, it's not bad at all. I hate the previous models, but this one was sleek (maybe it was the black that drew me in). I'd drive one. Gas mileage is about 23/30. Pretty good.

Not that it has anything to do with this topic...

I don't have enough room. If I would've known I was getting a car a year after I bought the sub (I had an SUV at the time) I wouldn't have gotten something that required so much room... Still, it plays fine to me.

My friend's mom has that car in that color, rides great.. decent pickup surprisingly aswell. The interior isn't that nice, but the seats are comfortable. The stock sound system is also decent.

Do you mean the stereo system is loud, or the road noise is loud and he'll need music to cover it up?

Nah, he's not a basshead, at all. He would probably appreciate a nice system though, but subwoofer-less.

Great cars, especially for travel. Kind of roomy, but still decent gas mileage and can come 4wd if you live in a place where its needed. My sister in law has one thats a few years old and loves it

Dont feel the sytle, but heard they are very reliable and get decent gas mileage and are comfortable. My fiance is thinking of getting one next year. She is paying off her car this week, I think she is crazy! I think she should drive that bish till the wheels fall off.
