I would like to hear some of these Brazilian amps to see how they sound with actual music. Is there anyone in Louisiana running these powerhouses or do I have to buy one for myself?

So do I //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Hello

Well, the 16kD (16kW in 12.6V) is pretty big, compared to a SD8000.

About the product itself, a couple things I feel we could explain:

We produce amplifiers with pulse-width modulation on the power supply, that is why they will work from 8V to 18V (actually a bit more, 20V), getting a good power response over that range is pretty hard to achieve and I'd say our design is the best on that matter.

The little secret behind this is a 20MHz microprocessor running a carefully designed program, controlling from the protections to the modulation on the power supply.

Craig Butler was like "Twisted..i'd be honored if you would take one of my amps for free and sign a shirt for me" and i was like "Look CB....i don't take hand out's...but i will sign the shirt for ya"..........true story.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

that sounds great but can you put some wire or bars to handle the current better than the board and something a little better than brass nuts for current transfer to the board, and a new way to mount the back panel to the case on the 16K ?

Hi, there is no issues related to the current flow, the amps are carefully tested in factory and the power measurements can tell that.

I believe, he is a nice guy, you should have gotten the amp, haha.

dont get me wrong im not saying that its junk! or that it wont do rated power. but it makes me a little uneasy with a 500V rail and that is all there is for power/current transfer.

i just think you would have a great product if you step up the parts (terminals) and heatsink beef it up a little i mean the price you charge for the 16K is high enough that you can afford better. make the build quality a little better to match the rest of the parts in the amp

no offense
