thanks guys

I see the X8 recommends 32 tuning, the SA-8 V.3 35 tuning

both take the same net space

I can guess the X8 is more toward SPL and The SA-8 V.3 More Musical

all that said I would tend to agree with Massive for my needs the SA-8 V.3

tc300 what are you thoughts as to why I would go X8 for my needs, is it because of the 32 and 3K watts

X8s are more spl woofer... The Sa v3 v4 whatever the newest is, is a daily ground pounder. If you want low end get the SA

The sa is a lower distortion driver. The x needs a slightly larger box to get low but it will play just as low. Just needs more airspace..

The x8 is not a low end monster like the x, zv4, nsv3. The x8 is in the x series. Can you clarify this statement? I actually just picked up a set of x8s.
