they lack midbass. i have type r components and don't like them. i switched from some polk comps and wish i didn't.

Wow, just ... wow

Anyway, the only Type-R worth its salt is the subwoofer. The coaxials and components **** royal balls.

Although if you honestly don't know what midbass is, you need to do A LOT of reading on here before you even begin to think about purchasing new speakers.
