Did you just forgo FM radio all together or how are you doing that with the tablets in dash? I have seen some have a radio behind the tablet but then how do you know what station or settings etc?

im contemplating putting a nexus 7 in the dash of my nissan titan is why i am curious

Thanks in advance

Ah im pretty savy with rooting and what not but looks like the nexus 7 2012 doesnt have fm antenna or tuner //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Only other thing possible is use tunin radio or other streaming apps.

I dont really see a point in ditching the radio permanently if you still want the fm/am tuner.

Just find a way to mount it else where thats easily accessible and connect it via AUX.

using an app for radio is cool and all but what if you do not have data on the tablet? then having a am/fm radio with bluetooth should be on your list of parts for your install and place in the glove box or better location..maybe on the side of the center console under your knee area?

most of the tablets have Fm Radio..
