In Kent's testings, the subs were close in many aspects including spl. You can find out about the rl-s on the soundsplinter forum under one of the sticky posts about LMT

im pretty sure they are strappable (that means you can connect 2 together and have 1 as the master control right).

Nope. If they aren't strappable, go with an even number of subs (2 or 4).

However, if you had the money and room, four Rl-p 12's would rock.
