Yes could have been worse...even crappier sony subs. But, you can't take away his install is somewhat clean and well balanced - yah, he could have got DD, Sundown ..blah blah..but honestly that's what sets audiophiles apart from moderate audio users. Some people just don't want a whole lot of bass; maybe the setup works good for him and meets his expectations..but just because he is using sony isn't a need to bash him. For all we know he is a teen just getting started and doesn't have daddy and mommys money to support him and his hobby.

the subs are better than alot of the base line stuff tho........ I have 6 12" sony xplods in my back seat

Why does it matter what someone runs if they like it? Half the asshats here would probably buy an amp rated at 100 watts and did 500 over an amp that was the same price that was rated for 1000 and did 900 just because it did more than rated. Just because this guy likes low end equipment doesn't mean he's an idiot.

So your saying you have a 600 watt amp thats rated for 100 watts, but is extremely under rated and a 1000 watt amp and is over rated and only does 900?
