On the subject, i wouldnt doubt that thing can run the .25 that fast. ( oh shit, a decimal ) With quad turbos, Turbo lag would be non existant and i would be willing to bet that all of the power made would be made extremely fast when you stomp the pedal. The most important thing would be traction. I dont see it running that quick on street tires but if traction could be made i can definatly see that car running the .25 that fast.

are you serious bro...mercedes would NEVER design an engine that makes 1600hp and can do a quarter mile in 6.89 seconds...and that paint isnt white gold, its chrome paint...its either a plain old slr or its the slr722

Yes because im sure there is no aftermarket company in the world and im sure if there was, they would never try anything over the top. And then on top of that, im sure a news source would blatently get every detail of a story wrong and im positive no one at mercedes would gladly accept a bankroll to build something like that just because its more money in there pockets. all wheel drive with 335+ width all the way around, no lag, and the right driver.. mmmm Yea I think it could run a 7 second quarter NHRA Pro stocks run low 6s with around 1200 hp, although they are made for a straight 1/4 I still think its possible.

funny how no matter how hard i look for this mysterious benz quad turbo 1600hp engine, i get nothing but copy paste threads from the op...even ppl on benz forums havent heard of it, and every sensable person agrees its a chrome paint job not white gold....but im sure everything posted on the internet is true...bugatti veron has a 1001hp quad turbo motor, made out of carbon fiber, all wheel drive and cant run better then 9's...yet a rear wheel drive slr made of white gold with 600 more hp running on street tires and 20" rims runs 3 seconds faster...boy your a friggin genius

but I do agree. Buddy of mine has a 1050 hp supra ( at the wheel ) and that thing doesnt get traction until 4th gear.. Ran a 10.18

99% of high hp supras are horrible at the track...they shine on 80mph up rolls, then there reddddddiculous!!! ive been in a 96x whp cobra and it was scary as shit from 100 up, we have some of those 1000whp supras around here but they dont like to come out and play
