When you are wiring comps you connect the woofer and tweeters up to the x overs then the x overs to the amp correct?

Anything else I need to know?

Yep.

Make sure you mount the crossovers in a place that isn't going to get wet.

It depends if the crossovers are passive or active/electronic I believe. If they are passive, yes you do.

some external crossovers have different settings to choose from. I know my bostons have different attenuations for the tweeter and different settings for the mid

lmao, I hid some Crossovers behind a door panel, and I had no room to work with... after 30 minutes per door, I got it in...

Then I realized my brother wired the tweeter on the woofer outs...

I had to rip it out and spend another 30 minutes...
