This can't be right... can it??

an alternator and a motor have nothing to do with each other. IF its the same motor that came stock was rebuilt or the exact same motor put in then it will be the same, if a different motor was put it then your amperage might vary.
You're just a dick aren't you? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif When you rebuild a motor, you don't buy the parts that came stock, you rebuild a motor to make it better, therefore it could have a bigger alt. Wait, am I wrong about this? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
**** Orange County whinebags, THEY'RE ALWAYS RIGHT!!!
You guys are both retarded. The engine bay has been touched, it has been modified. Therefore the accessories on the motor could be the same, they could be better, they could be worse.

Saying any of these things is right is retarded, and complete speculation.

woops didnt mean to make that last post... thats wut i get for checkin my thread and being on msn at the same time......... and no im getting the t20001bd and runin it at 4 ohms will be better on my amp and my subs plus make it sound lots better than at 1 ohm... not to mention i have had shitty luck wit runnin stuff at one ohm ... eve professionally installed... dont matter 3 amps... all 1 ohm... all blow...... im goin for the big boy plus if i ever wana up grade i got 4k at 1ohm and 2.5 or something close to that at 2 ohms so i think that i got my mind prettty much made up........ PS found one for $550 that inculdes 6 month warranty ... gotta love refurbished equipment

first off.....you're not going to pay 1600 for an amp. if you do that yo're be sterile for the rest of your life. if you have 90amps to workw ith or more. youll be fine with 1 or 2 runs of 1/0 wire from front battery to back battery, and equal runs for he big 3 and the bat backttery ground. it's supper important you have abattery in the back for the amp to draw off of. it'll help a lot. Getting an HO alty would help a lot too.
whatever amp you're looking at....look for a used or refurbished one. amps either work or they dont typically. i recall a kicker zx 2500.1 being 1800 bnib from adealer down the street. i found a refurbished kx 2500.1 (same board, pratically same amp, still under rated as hell) and got it like new for550 shipped....... dont pay 1600 for whatever the hell you're looking at. for 1600 uan get almost everything youll need for ur stereo if not al of it.

get budget together and let us know. we'll find you the best bang for the buck. again...dont spend 1600 on an amp. let u help //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
please never speak again. or give anykinda "help" ever

yeah man get that rockford and run it at 4 ohms good choice. its does sound a lot better for everyday listening people tried to tell me to get a different amp to run my dual 2 12" at 1 ohm and i had my mind set on the 2500-xxk that puts out 1050 at 4 ohms (underated) but you should check out the ARC audio 2500-xxk its really nice. i like it a lot. its more high quality than the rockford but it wont be stable at 2 or 1 ohm if you want to upgrade later.
