Thinking of Phoenix Gold Titanium Elite 12" subs

I heard a 15" Eclipse Titanium in a .75 cu. box with a bd1500.1 to it. The box was a piece of shit as far as how well it was built.....would rip your head off!! chest pounding, shook the crap out of the car....low end extension is great, NO distortion. The SQ was also very impressive You could actually smell the glue melting off the box. It was hands down the most impressive single sub I have ever heard.....Not that Im saying I hear excellent 15"s every day but....impressed the shit out of me, If I had the money Id get some.

Yeah I just recieved my d3000.05 and it hooked up on two brahma 12's mkI wired at 0.5 ohm. It is unbelieveable how loud they get, the amp, sub combination is unreal. I have them in a ported enclosed around 3 cubes on each chamber. I runnin a 180 ampalternator, 2 red tops, big 3, and 3 caps and im still dimming off that amp. Brahma's were made for small enclosures and the smaller the box, the more power it can handle. I prefer sealed, but I would highly recommend them for SQ and of course SPL. =)

I have 3200 Watts on tap from the Mmatts D3000.1 sub amp. Not sure if I'll feed them any more than around 1400 each in sealed cabinets.

Kinda' in limbo right now with V:2.0 of my current system. HU CD mechanism died and the $1500 replacement deck has no F'n pre-outs, plus eD EU-700 for midbass don't fit where they were intended, even with mods. Basically, I'm back to a maxxed credit card, a garage full of equipment and a truck that needs a lot of install-time and replacement audio gear... and no tunes. pooey

Feed them every ounce of that amp, they will take it with ease, especially in that sealed box. many people have ran them with 2kw + all day long in ported boxes, so they will handle it.

Finally installed them. Went through samples of all kinds of music for about an hour.

They're truly insane -- pure muscle.

Can't wait for them to break in!

Sealed 1.35 cu. ft/side .

I'd love to run these things in a nicely built - tuned ported enclosure, but double the size cabinet would take up pretty much all of my cargo-area. I need room for groceries n' kid stuff. Ported, they'd easily be comp'-ready. Sealed, they're insane, even.
