thinking about some 12w6v2's

I think you should be doing fine.

I run two W3v2 off an old MTX BLUE THUNDER 3002 with the same out specifications that you mentioned and they sound very good...for me.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

A pair of W6's may like about 1000watts rms.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

Oh another issue is that those MTX amps are underrated.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

if your amp is a mtx 2300x or a Blue thunder 3002 or a rt 2400x you should know that i very underrated... wiyh a good electrical system it can do like 800wrms-900wrms.

I would go with the 12w6v2... best sounding sub ever
