How is the Phoenix Gold OCTANE-R 12d??

Well after blowing out my POS Crunch Powerzone sub, the shop wants to give me this Phoenix Gold OCTANE-R 12d in replace (for free). Is this a good sub? or should I look for something else?

I had one of these subs previously and i was giving it about 350 watts rms and let me tell u for a entry level sub i was shocked //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif.It got pretty darn loud and sounded good doin it.I had it in a 2.0 cu.ft ported enclosure tuned at 30 hz.

Well, I went the Free route and stuck with the Phoenix Gold. So far I love it, alot better than that POS Crunch sub I had before.
