Thinking about getting a dodge calliber

So im probably going to sell my civic hatchback. When i put my box that was in my foxbody into my civic i noticed a huge gain from it being in a smaller more open car. So if i get a calliber will it be quiter? I havent many people put audio equipment in a calliber and was wondering if anyone has done it on here, and what their oppinions were.

It's a hatchback style car so those tend to be louder than trunk set-ups. It does have a bigger cabin to fill though so it's hard to say for sure. I've only really had trunk set-ups though :\

My only open-cabin set-up was in a Bronco with a pair of W0s before I knew what audio was, so I can't really comment on that. Entirely different vehicle anyway.

Its a piece of shit. My wife drive's one. The doors are very flimsy, the interiors are cheap, the parts used are junk. Whats in my signature is in her car.

Within the first 6 months of owning mine I had to replace both front wheel bearings, the alternator, the battery, the brakes, rotors, tires, and transmission. Thank god I tacked on the extra $20/month for the extended warranty. I got out of the wheel bearings and transmission for $100 deductible. Otherwise would have cost me $3500 to replace it all.

Good lord man!!! It is a good thing you got the extended warranty!! Ive heard nothing but poor about most new dodge vehicles, other than the motors are lasting, and dont lack much power, but as far as the rest of the vehicle??Alot of Issues, and nothing more than money pits for service work needed..Id stick with your Honda..seems like Honda, and Acuras hardly ever need tons of service work, and seem to always be quite reliable also

Not surprising in the least to hear this. Most domestic cars feel the same to me though.

I never buy extended warranties on anything. TV's, radios, speakers, what ever, I never get them. For some reason I felt inclined to do it on this car. I easily paid off what I will spend on the extended warranty by paying $100 for a $3800 transmission.

The only thing i'd own by d/c/j are the trucks, challenger, 300c. Stuff along those lines. Thery are my most hated domestic brand cause 85% of what they make is f'n cheap junk.

My neighbor bought a brand new Calliber for his daughter. The brake system kept having issues & the transmission started to slip. I rode in the car maybe 5 times. To say that was a 2012 the AC ******. When you first hop inside you automatically notice how cheap and flimsy the whole dash feels/looks. When the transmission problems started, they took it back & got an Avalon. Avalon has been more than perfect and actually drives/feels/looks like a quality built car.

Well maybe, but ive dumped about 4 grand into it and its not even running. Paint is ******, has a rust spot behind the rear window of the hatch. After i manage to get it running ill need another 2-3 grand if not more to get it finished. I could have a new car when its all said and done or i could have an old out dated honda. Not to mention it took atleast a good hundred hours of work or so just to swap the engine, everytime we got one thing working, something else would go wrong, and there is absolutely no room in the engine compartment. But i also have a kid and im working minimum wage and stuck at my girlfriends parents and i ******* hate it. So back to what i was saying. Im looking for a decent 4 door in the 8 grand range that isnt ******* hideous because i hate 90% of sedans. That ***** though the calliber was my favorite out of the lancer, and rsx i found. Also do you have a auto or a 5 speed, because i have heard nothing but bad news about their autos. But my dad has a srt8 charger with 80k miles and the only problem he has had in the 5 years or so hes had it was a a/c vent has broke
