I can pick one up for $430, brand new w/ warranty and all. Hoping to use it to power 2 X TS-W2000spl Premier subs (750 RMS / 2000 Max, spec'd at 1.5cubes sealed, gonna be in a 4-5cube vented box)

Possibly adding a .5 farad cap to the car, and gonna do the "Big 3" with 2/0 (Still stock electrical / smallish battery for now)

Cap comes free with the wiring kit I'll probably end up buying... 8 AWG installed in the car atm, gonna up it to 4AWG to the trunk for the amp... won't hurt to use the cap.

As to the price, I'm a canuckle... so $350 is pretty close, and if I buy locally, I don't have to wait on shipping... and local support!

Does anyone happen to have a similarily priced amp, in the same (or higher) power range, that would be as least the same quality? Still open to suggestions for those subs. Used to have an RF Power 1001.bd, with the subs in a WAY too big box (needed less power) so downing the size of the box, hoping to at least match the power of the RF so I don't lose too much bass.

2200d are great i have 2 of them linked @ 2 0hms at about 4400rms +/- some

You can get a SoundStream TRX1500.1 or a JBL GTO14001 both more powerfull than the alpine by far. I would go with the JBL because i have experience with a few and they are great amps.

You can buy those amps on ebay for around 350bucks
