Just a hair over your $300 budget, but would take the power nicely and sound great doing it. Should be able to fit a pair into the airspace you're considering. They also have a 10" HO that would be easier to work with. I think it'd make one hell of a console build.

Ok, just measured the room available. More then i thought. I have about 3.5 cubes but, thats a square. I need some weird angle. Dont want just box. Im gonna work up a design. Just not sure how to measure the volume of a hypothetical box that is a irregular shape.

Hell, stick with the brand and find a used pair of SA-10s. They'd take that power fine @ 1 ohm and that airspace is just about right.

Whats gonna be the audible difference between 2 Sa-8s and two Sa-10's or 2 12's?

Well, after mocking it up. Im looking at 3.92 Ft^3 before bracing and sub displacement. Also, that number may be a little high due to angle at the front. That shouldn't take away much. Like .1 MAYBE. Im thinking ported because i like the sound of it. How should i face the subs? Down MAY be possible. Their is a metal bracket in the way and i think i can remove it but their is a sensor their too. I could do one forward and one backwards. Would that work? One would be closer to the port then the other. For some reason i think that would cause a problem. Would it?

Does that 3.92 include port volume? All of the subs in one direction would be preferable, but it's doable.

No. That is just the room i have to play with. The port shouldnt be too long since its a big box.
