i dont have much but thats not my biggest worry, im more worried about being a cheap ******* and building my own box...ive never built one before and i can do sealed

so http://www.soundstream.com/FAQ%2...0SUBWOOFER.htm basically is telling me that given the same driver exact driver, the 15 will displace more air and therefor be slightly louder? the end kind of threw me off though making me think it would be less punchy

anyways i have a base rsx if that helps you understand the space, the stock speakers ahve a little punch but not the best deep lows...from my ear is sounds like it doesnt go below 50-60 hz but im probably just talking out of my ***, so something to fill in under and add alot more punch would be nice?

Sealed sounds good, and hits. Ported goes lower, and also hits. Not always the case though.
And about cone area....a 15 its just for lower bass. With 1 or 2 12's, you get more of a sense whats going on, by them reacting to more frequencys

It means you can hear the difference. A 12 dosent hit as low as a 15, and a 15 dosent react as fast as a 12Depends on the music though. You want 10s or 12s for rock.....12s or 15s for rap....

alright now for a couple quick lil spec questions.....the site says the sealed box should be between .8-1.6 what should i do about that?......and kenwood 9104d or 9103d amp?......lastly is the copper coil worth the extra 5 bucks?

I'd go with the KAD-9104D amp. And Yes with the copper coils.

Just get a FI Q 12 with a 1.25 sealed box and a Sundown SAE-1200D. Thats all you need.
