so anyways, i mainly listen to rock and techno.....i want it to be able to hit down to 20-25 hz....but still respond well to double bass hits for rock....i occasionally listen to some rap...so it would be nice to have something that wont sound like shit for the longer lows and still hit hard and crisply for the highers....i kind thought a 15 sealed would give me a bit of the best of both worlds?...is that wrong?

and i was mainly thinking about building my own sealed box....i think ported would be too tough to do alone

im pretty solid with building things so im quite sure if i put some time and care into the bos it would turn out well

What kind of space do you have?

1 good 12 in a low tuned ported box, can do very well.

It means you can hear the difference. A 12 dosent hit as low as a 15, and a 15 dosent react as fast as a 12Depends on the music though. You want 10s or 12s for rock.....12s or 15s for rap....
