seriously though, im really curious why you decide to side with the load? are you really butt buddies? or did i cross you at one point in time to make you dislike me? say all you want, its entertaining, im just curious. people dont usually just jump on a side after being quite nuetral just moments before in an unrelated arguement.

Really? I used to be in a weight liftathon competitions in High School. So I know how to lift. I just don't do it right now because of my back problems. I just spent a shit ton of money on a bowflex to get down to 200 by this time next year. Can't put the strain of the plates on me right now. This is safer and can be put in the apartment. I have kids and work 50 hours a week, so is hard to get to the gym.

I was also over 300 pounds when I was in High School. 330 to be excat and had only a 26% body fat. Don't believe me, don't care, but is true. Said it before in that thread I was talking about earlier. I also put up over 410 pounds twice and lost in the finals to a kid that got kicked out of the comp because of steriods, just was a year later.

So your 325 pounds at you being almost 300 is not that good. I guess you can't even do a chin ups, can you?

 
weight can be deceiving. i weigh 230 at 5'11". i'm not fat.

im 6'0 (really 5'11+, but its closer to 6, so it sounds better)

and weigh 300 ish +- 10 pounds depending

people do not believe me when I give my weight

but, I have a 47" (I think) chest and a 38" waist

very strong upper body etc etc etc

weight, is not important when determining physical size, at least not imo

my point exactly. i WAS fat, but now im just big with a beer gut. some call it fat, but i dont think it is. i just love beer, im german
i've never really been fat. i'm more over weight now than i've ever been, but my body fat is still not too bad.i work a physical job, which helps. i can still push up 315 a few times. in my younger years i could rep 405. 5 years ago i worked out with 365 on the bench. i've gotten lazy since i started working more than a 40 hour week.

when Im in a physical job (not currently) then my strength skyrockets, and my waist shrinks immediately lol

oh and for the record, i could do 6 PULLUPS (harder than chinups) at 325. i got some sick lats
