I have two 15" Hifonics Brutus subwoofers that are dual 4 ohms, I bought a new amp not thinking about checking the specs.. its a Memphis MOJO 16-2000D thats shows
1 x 1200 @ 4 ohms (13.8V)
1 x 2000 @ 2 ohms (13.8V)
1 x 2400 @ 2 ohms (15.5 V)
The problem I have right now is that the system is performing really weak, I have to turn it up high to hear the subs and after I turn it up about 3/4 max volume the subs crack out, then jump back in and then go out again and back in. The subs are not blown, I think I have my subs wired incorrectly. How should I wire them to my amp? Is there anything else that could be affecting my performance?
