A buddy at school actually told me first he'd sell me this shit for $100. He said his ***** is going out so he's getting rid of car. But then went on to say he might have to give them to his cousin. So I figured I'd offer him $150 for this crap and see if that helps. Well only if it's worth it.

Or what would you pay for this equipment (used)?

those subs are 300 w rms SVC

amp is 250 X 2 @ 2 ohms

If the subs are SVC 2 ohms, then yea, it would be a good budget buy.

EDIT: I wouldn't pay more than $100 for it all.

So if they can do 2Ohms, that'd be worth $100?

I mean that's everything you'd need and it's 500W for $100. Not for me, but trying to get my buddy into car audio and something to start with.

But I don't know if MTX's are overrated or what.
