I like the looks. Hows the quality of them?
I didnt get em nekkid yet. Although they are entering as a mid-level mainstream product. Theyre not to be your end all,be all ubber expensive 'high end' amplifiers. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Care to elaborate? Ive yet to run across someone sharing your feelings.
like i said, i will be suprised if it is any good because in the past alumapro sucked. now they make amps so who knows, they might be ok. why dont you hook it up and give us a review?

In due time I will, still waiting for the customer that is getting this set, Till then can you provide me with detailed info rather they a repetitive "they sucked"? Dealing with them for many years Ive yet to experiences problems or them being 'poop'.

i've had a bp-10 since 2001 and i think it performs pretty **** well.

the only complaint i have is that it won't play high enough to pick up where my old a/d/s/ 335is' left off. i loved the sub so much i swapped in some dls up6's.

wouldnt that be treason? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Nahhhh, I like to peek at other amps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I just fixed an Alpine for a friend... pretty weak if you ask me. It has "1000-watts" printed on the front and has 2x TIP42C and 2x TIP41C in the output section... 65-watt maximum dissipation each.

I put some cross-referenced NTE T0-220 units back in rated at 90-watts each and more than double the IC (collector current) and IB (base current) ratings, so hopefully he won't blow it up again as easily.

A "250 watt" Road gear has more in the output section than that Alpine in 1/2 the footprint size... it's actually got 4x TO-220 devices rated at 75-watts maximum each. I don't recall the part numbers... but I do recall that the rating was accurate per the devices at "250-watts Max." At least Road Gear got their number from somewhere!

Just random stuff on my mind... back on topic!
