so, i work part time at a Sam's club and one of the 4 walmarts in town is right next door. well my ex fiancee/current girlfriend (its complicated LoL) came in to sams, shopped a bit and then went to walmart. Well, her car woudnt start when she came back to it and messaged me to see if i could give her a jump start. Well, in the interim of me going to my car and driving over there, some dude and his gf pulled into the spot right in front of her and asked if he could help when he saw a diminutive lady with her hood up obviously having car troubles. She explained the problem and he identified the problem as a dead battery also. He then said to her that he didnt have any jumper cables, but he just needed to grab a couple quick things and would buy some while he was in there just to help her out (he had some in his garage, but not in the truck). Well, i arrived shortly thereafter and asked the fellas girlfriend who was still in the truck if she kindly could move it so i could jump the dead car. About 45 seconds later, the dude shows up with the cables and jumps the car.
My gf didnt have any cash and is easily flustered with issues like these so she didnt have the wherewithal to go buy some cables with her card. This dude just did this out of sheer kindness. I promptly paid the guy for the cables and shook his hand like a man.
Some people can bring some hope back to humanity
