too expensive for the amount of entertainment
Ehh, I'm getting started for a fair amount of money. Less than $100.

There's some smaller courses near me, you can get a round of golf with a cart for under 20. 9 Holes.

Not too expensive if you ask me.

you need to play the course to actually learn the game
drive for sho

putt for dough
Oh, definately.

Haha, right now it'd be a waste to go to a course, I haven't developed enough skill with striking the ball to go to a course yet.

Within a month or so I will though.

you will want more than nine holes.....trust me lol

You can usually play a 9 hole course twice for no additional charge. This is helpful for someone learning the game. Repetition and familiarity and all...
The one course I'm looking at here does charge extra, but not much.

I just got back from the driving range. I still need some more practice.
