This is going to be the utmost weirdest thing and by far the most unbelievable event that actually occured, but let me start with the equipment in a friends vehicle....
Sony Xplod head unit
SAZ-1500D v3
GPI Attitude 15 (DC XL)
MB QUART FX4.50
-----------
The mb quart we were trying to get working, and the only way to do that was to disconnect all RCA from the sub amp (daisy chained) and plug directly into the mb quart. However, once we did that, every time the head unit turned on, the GPI Attitude wired off the SAZ-1500D made the loudest and highest noise ive ever heard. It LITERALLY sounded like a horse snarling and then it made popping noises until the head unit was turned off.
No RCAs were in the SAZ-1500D at all. And it did this noise, in the same order, every time the amp was turned on. The woofer looked like it started to die, it sucked inwards and stayed there and then started the popping. It seriously was over 3khz. We dubbed it The White Horse... unbelievable it actually did this.
The SAZ was unwired and luckily it stopped. Could have sworn we had a satanic woofer here.
Anyway, im thinking the SAZ is somehow dead. Any other ideas? Im scared its going to do that noise and next thing i know im being stabbed in the face
Id also like to mention the woofer worked fine before we messed with the RCAs.. even with everything back to default it does the dance of satan
