The war against Scientology

wrong... he was a nuclear scientist. you should read radiation by hubbard. it's a non-fiction that gets in great detail about nuclear fall out and treatments for contamination. supposely, nuclear war is more of a mind fvck than anything. if you lived in atlanta and they dropped a warhead right dead in the center it would destroy a little over a 1 mile radius(buildings, disemboweled charred cadavers). the burning light(gamma rays) 2.5 miles and atomic matter(depending on the wind, and type of bomb) 15 miles. so all you country folk that live outside of major cities would be perfectly safe. people have this misconception that a nuclear bomb will destroy a whole country... wrong. and people also have a serious misconception of hubbard.

if you haven't read dianetics your opinion is not needed.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
Listen first of all, he was a sci-fi writer *******. Secondly I have ready many works with the religion. Thirdly, I have no beef with it and let people believe what they will.
You are sounding like a full fledged zealot and those are the people that make religions look bad. No matter what religion it is, there is some asshat zealot spewing BS.

IMO- the human mind is weak. Religion is for the weak minded or the greedy.

What if all the stories of Jesus, or whatever "God" you worship, were over-indulged stories that are exageratted everytime it is "historically" re-told? I refuse to argue the point of faith with anyone because I don't care what or how you worship some mystical figure. As long as you educate yourself-- the old saying "know Thine Enemy better than Thy Neighbor"

take it for what it is... but watch the first part of this online "movie." for another view of the lies and deceit amongst us.

**** I live in Clearwater/Largo florida. thats home base for them. It sucks drive through there. Some one said that Christians also ask for money in church.... they ASK,to even be a scientologest you must give 10% of your gross pay.
Clearwater is the second home. They started and have main HQ in Burbank california

First of all, believing in something does not make you weak minded. That is one of the absolutely most despicable comments that I hear atheists use all the time...and when I was atheist I said the same thing.

Religions are good in that they can provide a moral compass and provide a meaning to life. Religions make preparation for death more manageable.

What if they aren't? And even if they are exaggerated, does that make the religion any less valid if the principles of the religion are unchanged?

take it for what it is... but watch the first part of this online "movie." for another view of the lies and deceit amongst us.

Yes, you do need to take that movie for what it is. There are many holes in part 2 and part 3. Part 1 discusses how many religions, most notably Christianity, are derived from basic Astrology. Not only is that really old news, but it also doesn't make the religions any less valid. That's like saying different dialects of a given language should be discarded because they were based on something else....sorry, life doesn't work that way.

Did you ****ing read what I wrote in here? Before you spout off asking if some has read this or that, you should start with reading and comprehending all posts in here. If a word is foreign to you. make sure to look it up or ask for clarification of definition. Which is one of the first things you learn!

Once again for the shitbricks obviously sitting in the cheap seats.

I DIDN'T SAY ALL HE DID IN LIFE WAS SCI-FI!

It was however a BIG part of his life. Now run along and radiate your butthole until your mind is clear ****stick.

Do they really believe in aliens?
I don't believe so. This part I can't tell you indefinitely as I never got confirmation when talking to my employers. I get the feeling, L. Ron used these stories as a medium of explaining and teaching. Much like they do in the Bible. The media and haters though of course take the stories as being scientology and blow it all out of proportion. It's just like using sound bites against politicians.
Once again don't quote me on that as I never directly asked my employers when I worked for them and discussed or read material.
