The war against Scientology

Where did I say what my beliefs were in the first place? You are comparing religions, which of course you might be using that as your argument but it sounds like you are using it in a way where I brought it up. I don't care for any religion personally because I don't feel like I should have to listen to someone elses interpretation. But, for the record I'm pretty sure you could have any of your questions answered in a Christian church if you went to sunday school or something of that nature, don't they have group discussions? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif:crazy://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
as far as who am I to say what's right and wrong, who's to say what you are saying is right/wrong? It's all opinion, it's based on what we see. It's morals. It's ca.com for christ sake, you can't take this place seriously //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
I was only using it as comparison. I don't believe in any either like you, but no one is asking you to listen to their interpretation. They don't force it upon people. This is what I am getting at. All the other beliefs of the world are a lot more persistent in their need to convert you. This doesn't exist in scientology. People willingly accept it. Thats why I don't see how it is bad. It is the members choice to be there. So let them be.

L Ron was a Sci-Fi writer, I think this is where he derived the name from. Plus he believes that it is scientific lol.
I would think scientific things can actually be proven. I would say a unifying charatcteristic of ALL religions is faith. If it can be proven, it isn't faith. Furthermore, I did not find anything in my brief search where they are actually doing scientific work of any type. They have reccomendations for alternative diets that do not include nutrients such as vitamin C. I did not see any published clinical trials proving their method was superior.

see above paragraph.
The lets start Jihad on all those mothers! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
You never stated this in the beginning. You merely attacked scientology and said it was evil. It looked to me as though you were singling them.

There isn't and never will be. Nor do I think it is scientific at all. Hence my "lol". They claim within their group they have tested and proven there ways. They won't publish findings because it is only for the "clear"

I agree!!!

I put my .02 cents in a lot of religious threads, I'm not singling them out, I'm just giving my opinion //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.
Oh then very well, yes they all **** my wang. I just don't see the point in groups like this thread was started about singling out a specific one that to me isn't even particularly threatening. Just a bunch of shitheads throwing rocks because they think they are funny. Douchely thugs IMO.

With that being said, yes Tom Cruise is a nut job //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

As much as people hate most organized religions, at least the try to find religious explanations for scientific phenomena.

Scientology isn't a religion. It's a cult. Some guy just dreamed up this "religion" and is using it to get rich.
Iis a belief structure, so it IS a religion. Please tell me how it isn't. Because it doesn't have a deity? Catholocism was born to keep people in check to and divert income to their group. It's just that it got so widely accepted that they are norm. While I agree that it was a scheme concocted to control people and divert income, I believe any religion was developed for at least one if not both those reasons. So yes it IS a religion.

Their books in course have just as much kooky explanations as story time in any other religion. These books just aren't out publicly in numbers. I have read a few of these books out of curiosity and they do try to go in depth their reasonings. Of course their reasonings make me laugh even more.

I'll tell you what guys. The day I get scietologists coming to my door to convert me and practically shoving their shoes in my door so I can't close it, then I will grab my pitchfork and join the fight. Until then I just say they aren't hurting me.

honestly I beleive in the scientific theory on how the earth was made....

the only remaining question is...what caused the big bang and where did

all the matter come from........?

and who made the big space the universe is in...and where did they come from?

now that is a brain twister and a half

heh, there are so many little things that make that theory look stupid. but I won't go there unless you wanna take it to PM, because it will ultimately end in me being flamed.

wrong... he was a nuclear scientist. you should read radiation by hubbard. it's a non-fiction that gets in great detail about nuclear fall out and treatments for

contamination. supposely, nuclear war is more of a mind fvck than anything. if you lived in atlanta and they dropped a warhead right dead in the center it would destroy a little over a 1 mile radius(buildings, disemboweled charred cadavers). the burning light(gamma rays) 2.5 miles and atomic matter(depending on the wind, and type of bomb) 15 miles. so all you country folk that live outside of major cities would be perfectly safe. people have this misconception that a nuclear bomb will destroy a whole country... wrong. and people also have a serious misconception of hubbard.

if you haven't read dianetics your opinion is not needed.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
