No, I'm definitely not. The L7 simply does not compare to the CVX in terms out output. The L5 is closest to it. Believe me on this one, I've worked with every Kicker sub aside from the Solo X and the original Comp.your thinking of CVR

ONLY diff is that the L7 will push slightly and i mean SLIGHTLY more air and of course one is round and one is square my buddy has 2 L7's look up the specsNo, I'm definitely not. I guess you don't see the link to my build that's in my signature. If you navigate your mouse pointer to it and click on it, that thread will show you exactly what I have. And What Do You Have For A System? Just Curious
Okay, your experience between you and your buddy versus me having designed and listened to so many solobaric setups. Which do you think I'm going to trust? I'm not trying to sound like an elitist, but believe me, the L5 is closest to it in performance. Why would Kicker price the CVX nearly $100 cheaper than the L7 but only have it differ from the L5 by $10? They aren't stupid, they wouldn't be so well known if they didn't know the value of their products.ONLY diff is that the L7 will push slightly and i mean SLIGHTLY more air and of course one is round and one is square my buddy has 2 L7's look up the specs

Lol ya we've got 2 sets of knives, this was the longest and most unused one of the sets. As for the seat screening idea, I've abandoned it. The dyed material that I partially sewn in has changed color because of the sunlight. I plan on making a fold down arm rest/ cupholder. Wont be for a WHILE tho.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif:laugh://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif You used a Henckel Synergy bread knife to cut out your seats.
Yes, I like cooking a lot and can recognize knives by the handle alone //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/redface.gif.62fdbfe1a101588a808c4cff71bcb942.gif
i wouldnt consider my 1.2 cu ft tuned a 38hz box for my 10 a fart box.so you like fart boxes, diff then a daily set up....
it looks stupid to you, but it's HIS ride...
ahhh, it says 2.25 cu ft net per driver for a 12it is max enclosure kicker calls for
the 12" L5 or L7 will have aprox 25% more cone area then a 12" round sub, 25% isnt slightlyONLY diff is that the L7 will push slightly and i mean SLIGHTLY more air and of course one is round and one is square my buddy has 2 L7's look up the specs
It's not even the cone area that's the big deal, it's the way the speaker behaves aside from that. The L7 is just a superior woofer, that's all.i wouldnt consider my 1.2 cu ft tuned a 38hz box for my 10 a fart box.
