THE Thread

steak and shake is aight, my friends all work there so i try and get free food off of them.

But they are kinda exspensive compared to a regular old fast food place, there shakes are like 2.69 and 3.25

burgers are like 5 bucks..

but coupons in the mail usually make up for it.

And if u go in to eat its supposed to be like a restraunt so ur supposed to tip the servers.

but they stay open 24/7 didnt get home from there until like 3am

Like the guy before said they are ok, their burgers are average. Cheese fries and chili are pretty good. Their shakes are very good but not the best. I wouldn't compare them to a fast food place, their closer to the new Dairy Queens, Johnny Rockets, and Sonics (but not as good as them).

now im even more depressed...... :'(

Got another quick story for ya.

Got a chance to get in some fishing this past Saturday. Headed down to the new river with a friend to try out his new ( and first boat) . We put the boat in the water, and decided to head up the river a few miles and float back down. Ran up the river about 5 miles before we started floating back. He cut the motor off, then proceeded to drop the trolling motor. Stepped on the foot pedal and nothing. The motor wasn't running at all. So I checked the batteries ( in the back of the boat with my fat arse ) Everything was hooked up, and had good clean corrosion free connections. So my next thought was dead batteries. Nope plenty of charge, everything else works fine with the exception of the trolling motor ( one battery for acc. one for starting ). I asked him if the trolling motor was plugged in, yep plugged in. Is the fuse blown ? Nope said he checked it before we left. I said let's check it anyway. So he Pulled out the fuse and inspected it. Looks good stuck it back in the holder and presto the trolling motor works now. I noticed as he was putting the fuse back in, it went into the socket alot farther this time than it was before he pulled it out. He looked at me serious as can be and said, " Hmmph, that's the d@mndest thing I ever seen. The fuse must have been in backwards " //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/hilarious.gif.02a037aad04aa96f19982b298a3d70a8.gif Needless to say I needed a moment to stop laughing and a change of undershorts after that one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Funny thing this guy works for freakin' AEP //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
