really, Jerknut. It's funny how in British colonies (or at least those former colonies that retain ties with the British) we speak PROPER English. And in places where we speak PROPER English, travelled is an accepted spelling.

wonderbread did you like going to israel? for some reason i just really disliked that country while i was there (the climate etc., not the politics and stuff) ...yes there are very interesting aspects and SOME cool places but the atmosphere and the people i just really did not like. it might have been better for you because you had an incentive to go, but i just went there because my mom knew a family who lived in jerusalem and we stayed with them.

the week after i went to israel i went to greece. athens: stayed there for 1 day and hated it. the parthenon was cool (even tho it was under construction) but once again i disliked the cities (i really dont like any big cities //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif). i think it was because everyone was a smoker. but after athens we went to some island called Chios (Hios, Xios, lots of names for it...). it was this really secluded island and we had a house right on the top of it. awesome trip.

well thats my experience. :p

I loved it...

we got there in a heat wave, but the heat was so darn dry that it was still comfortable. the only parrt where I could not deal well with the weather was on teh Kineret in teh north, it was actualyl cooler, but oh so much more humid... and even then, didn'nt mind it that much... saw so much in such a short period of time.... Greece was pretty sweet when I went there (a good 5 years agao...) loved cyprus....

yea i got there in a heat wave too (the heat wave known as summer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif). i really loved the places that i went OUTSIDE of the city like mt. masada, some hot springs, dead sea etc. i just dislike most cities, and jerusalem falls under that category for me. and athens, well thats another big city //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif but when we got to that island off the coast it was sweet as hell.
