Man i was playin b-ball in socks today and i got a blister on my foot man i think i'ma sit out football practice tommorow any body know of any medicine to sooth the pain..

First of all you can soak it in warm salt water, then rub it down with some type of cream with aloe in it then get those wart skins from walmart and put on/over the spot then tape it up with med tape. If you plan on going to practice then you can have your coach/do it yourself do you up with a simple half cast/athletic tape job. if you need to know how to do that then I can tell you. Trust me on this ITS WORKS. I have done this many time having blisters from football practice then going on a trip the next day to play a game.

Bad news guys......lol gotta sell my lighting audio 15, but not because I need money, but I have changed my mind and Im gonna go with 3 or 4 12's...any suggestiong? Im trying to hit a solid 160 and have it as my daily driver. I dont need trunk room at all just for my setup....Im just wondering on a good solid amp....they are 1000rms, but I wanna give them somthing like 1200-1500rms....any good amps you cant point me at? I was looking at a pair of usx1000d, but then I changed my mind, because thats not enough...so im thinking bout the lanzar d3000m again. nswartley when you gonna give me some info on it?

My bad dude.....lol plan on running the same sub...lighting audio storms, but 12;s instead of 15's. If I just run 2 12's I will run 2 usx 1000d's, but **** If I get 3 then my space will be limited and I dont know if I can fit a 3rd usx1000d. Plus im getting nswartley usx 4065. If I dont get his I will buy a brand new usx 4085 for my kappa 2 way and 3 way 6 1/2's....Im actually thinking bout doing a sealed box. Yes I know its not the box for spl, but with a spl driver and that kinda power I should be fine. You guys think it would be possible to hit a 160db with a pair of 12's and 2500watts along with a huge ported box like say a total of 5cubeft and a port say 35hz-40hz?

well first...go to the general discussion section and read my thread called 'unbelievable...'

then i will tell you that the amp is very solid, and puts out a shitload of power for the price. i would buy this amp if i needed the power. go for it by all means...it doesnt get any better for the price.

Did you get your friends benched? I want a good solid 2500 or more to push a pair of storm 12's. Im gonna try for a 160db....hope its possible!

no we didnt get it benched...check on the SPLenduro forums...they benched it i think. do a search.

nswartley thanks bro I think Im gonna go ahead and take my chances with it. I used to have a lanzar vibe mono amp 1200x1@1ohm and I liked it alot good for the price and it was solid.

Let it be known Im not trying to be cheap, but I dont want to pay 1500$ for 1 amp either. Hint I was thinking about getting 3 usx1000d. I still might get 2 since I think Im just gonna run a pair of the storm 12.s.....which brings me to my next question. Do you think a pair of usx1000d would do the same as the lanzar d3000m?

Can I get a vote.....which are the most effiecent and the best choice in your minds.

2 usx1000d?

2 jbl bp1200.1?

1 lanzar d3000m?

probably the 2 usx1000ds will be the most efficient, but the lanzar @ 1ohm will probably do the same power. the JBLs...no way. i would personally go with the lanzar because it has a 3 year warranty and because its one amplifier which will be more efficient that 2. not to mention much cheaper...

The lanzar is 3000peak at 1ohm correct? I really need a bare minimum of 1300rms per woofer....you think the lanzar is gonna do it? The usx1000d says 1250@1rms? I have a jbl bp1200.1 already, but I can sell it easy im sure. I want matching amps also. So with the lanzar d3000m I can get a lil brother the lanzar rk7004c. Its a 700watt amp, but its 4x87 watts rms at 4ohms and my infinity speakers are 75rms at 4ohm 225peak....so Im good. Ugly amps, but I like them, because I will probably make a box to hold them so you can just see the knobs and have a fan or 4 in the box.

i think that the lanzar can doe ~2500 watts rms @ 1ohm...i remember seeing that. it actually looks pretty cool if you mount it correctly....ill try to get some pics up tommorow of the setup.

2500rms@1 would be great. That would give me 1250 per sub. Also the subs are dvc 2ohm so thats also good. I was just thinking that the lanzar 700watt amp only does 87rmsx4 @ 4ohms, but then I realized the d3000m would be in a 1ohm load so it makes more sense....the old rule of thumb the lower the ohm load the more you get. Yea pics would be great. Is the amp HUGE?

its not HUGE...but can't 2 DVC 2ohm subs only be wired to .5ohms and 2ohms?

I dont know to be exact, but I was told you can run 2 dvc 2 ohm subs at a 1. somthing load......Im also thinking bout getting a pair of lanzar d2000m amps.

a pair of DVC 2 ohm drivers can only be in a .5 ohm and a 2 ohm mono load...

they can be wired to a 1 ohm stereo load.
