Whats the motherboard model, processor model +speed, Ram type speed?

atleast 1gig, mobo - i dunno? surprise me. cheaper the better!

Is there a model #?, like for example my PC started as a E-machines T-2642 and I have upgraded its internals over time.

With a computer manufacturer name and model # I can google and get the exact specs for your system.

HP Pavilion 735n with a Pentium 4 2.53GH, 512mb ram PC2100 DDR - all I know @ the moment, I'll get more when I get home.

No real need to replace the whole thing, its not that bad of a sytem.

Just add a decent graphics card along with a good power supply and you should get a good jump in performance.

The Ram is not that bad and the processor is decent already, a good windows optimizer program can help reduce the sytem load, heres a free one I use- http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file/fid,22844-order,1-page,1-c,systemresourcestuneup/description.html

One thing I noticed is that you have a micro atx case which means you cant fit a regular atx power supply in there with out the aid of a dremel or some sort of external mount.

If you ever think of upgrading the motherboard (the single weakest component in your sytem) this one would fit the bill nicely

You current board only has 4x AGP and would not be able to take advantage of a high performance 8x AGP video card this new board comes with an uber cool 3.06Ghz processor which smokes the 2.53ghz.

You can move you existing ram on to this board or put some pc3200 DDR 400Mhz up to 2gigs in it.

One problem though, the OEM windows install disk will be coded for the original motherboard and will not install with this new board installed, a quick download of certain operation systems with bit-torrent can fix this though(wink,wink).

So as I figure it 350 bucks could get you a pretty good command and conquer machine
