teebone, I recommend the W200 if you can pull off a double din.. Check out the D100 if you can't.. The reason I suggest these is that you won't be happy with the iPod controls on any of their older units.. I've heard good things about the high speed iPod interface, and it's gotta be better than the KCA-420i..

Clarion VRX765VD has nice iPod controls.. I almost got one of these instead of the D310, but my Clarion dealer are dic ks..
