I was thinking I can just splice some speaker wires off of the speakers in my car and then connect them to the MTX road thunder sub.

Hopefully he was kidding or he has many problems to come. Basically he would be better off running the sub on his home stereo.....

Dude get real you need an amp and thats bottom line for it to sound proper.....

Lol where you also thinking you dont need a box because its more money when you can just sit it in your trunk and have it slide everywhere..??

Mostly I was just adding to that post and starting up some more conversation. And once I got going, it was definately quite fun... the battery as an amp was especially the best part.

But even though it was funny I do have to say now that: I WAS KIDDING. I know there seems to be alot of newbies on this server so alot of times it might be hard to distinguish the people with real systems and the total newbs.

I just had to say, I was kidding, before my name get's laughed into oblivion.

Don't worry, I'll post some pics of my current setup soon. And then post some of my new and improved once I buy and install (so that'll be a while).

i started work on a new box...sealed...took pictures along the way. i just need to put the back and top walls on....and make holes for the subs. lol. still got a lot of work. what should i cover it with? vinyl? i dont want to use carpet..

meh...looks nice. i painted the last box and i didnt really like the way it came out...plus it took a while and paints too messy. i want to attempt to cover it with something this time.
