THE Thread

The war is on. If you are religious pray for the innocent people's safety in Iraq and pray that Sadam is caught. Pray that minimal # U.S. troops are killed. Pray that the country will allow all to have a fair life and for a government to be created that represents the people. If you are not religious support our military and please don't slam them. They're doing their job.

depends more on the decade. brand new cars (i consider 97+) usually come stock with 130-140A alternators, where as my car, an 88, came stock with a 75A.

i drive a 96 accord....80 amp stock alternator....auto makers use the smallest alternator possible (for $$) to run all the electrical components. only reason newer cars have higher amperage alternators is because they have more electronics (heated seats, 200 watt stereos, etc)

yeah, but your car doesn't fit into my standards so there, :p but yeah, i get what your saying, and there's no reason for car companies to be putting in 200A alternators, but they are definately getting bigger through the years due to the extra functions like you said.

so jeremy, maybe I'm not the first one to ask this, but what exactly do you do at this place in Germany where American troops are stationed? What kind of base/embassy/whatever is it? Explain your purpose.

No actually your not the first to ask, but I dont mind to answer. My dad is in the US Air Force. I actually work as a laborer for TLF which is equal to a hotel. I dont clean rooms or anything like that....I help guests. Does that tell you what you want? Also Im here with my dad in his house hold...anything else ask.

We will eventually get sadam out of power, but I fear that many will die in the war. I think Sadam will fight another dirty war. He will use biological weapons again, except this time he will use all that he possibly can because he wants to kill as many people as possible before he is killed. I know that he paid for an underground nuclear weapon powerplant, but I don't know how much he has accomplished with this plant. Hopefully he doesn't have any Nuclear weapons yet. There's so much going on in the worl right now. Along with the terrorists and Sadam, we also have to worry about North Korea.
