You are talking about top speed. It does 159 mph with the engine stock. I'm not talking mph though. I'm talking drag racing. Acceleration is much more important in racing than top speed. If you gear a car tall it will take forever to get to top speed. Here something else you might not have known. A camaro hits it top speed of 159 mph in fifth gear. Do you know why? It's called physics. If a car is geared too tall the amount of air resistance at high speed is too great for the power of the car to overcome. So to answer you the camaro is also geared tall. Your mom's car probably doesn't go much faster if any faster in fifth gear than in fourth if it is geared tall like you say it is because the power of the engine coupled with the air resistance will be unable to overcome the resistance. Camaros are geared tall in sixth to save gas also. A sixth speed transmission is designed so that 1st - 5th is close together for quick acceleration and 6th is to save gas on the freeway

Your volvo would lose. If you're saying cars over in germany are geared for speed then the volvos here are geared for acceleration, meaning that even with the low gearing you would still lose to a camaro just like the volvos out in the states.

Im telling you the volvo would beat that a$$....for one I raced a mustang with the 4.6 with a 5speed ****** and it wasnt even a race....2nd my moms volvo has crazy accel it goes from 0-60 in 6.5 seconds....3rd you never said it was a drag racer you said it had mods I thought you were talking street racing....you did say (ricer) I never seen a ricer on a drag strip....lol well fast and the furious doent count....its ok dude dont be all mad about it everybody learns....

The 351 t is a modded w and it stands for turbo..

Okay 0-60 in 6.5 sec. is slow in comparison to a camaro. My brother's car is way faster than that stock. Second drag racing is what you do on the street. That is street racing. You drive by someone doing 120 mph and tell them catch me if you can. My brother's car is a flat out race car either. It is a stock camaro with cold air intake, headers, and frame support work to decrease body twist which makes more power get to the tires rather than being wasted on body twist. Mustangs are no challenge for my brother's car even when it was stock. He would kill them in a race and have to wait for the mustangs to catch up. I'm not saying the volvo is slow, it's just no contest against a camaro.

only is he keeps fighting guys who eitehr a) can't take a punch to the jaw or b) are willing to take one mediocre punch to the jaw, then aly on teh amt for 10 seconds, get up, perfectly fine and cash their 1 million dollar check...
